I have two stories for you and the names and facts have been changed to protect the senile.
Story 1: This old guy is driving a normal route. By that I mean one he has driven a million times before. I know for a fact that people have addressed his ability to drive and have said, "It's only a matter of time," before
Story 2: Another old guy, relax I'm not racists. Another old guy was climbing... wait for it... wait for it... wait for it... some steps. He worked so hard, he got so far, he gave it that old college try, but that dumb bitch was following him. No really, someone was walking behind him and it was a she. He got to that top step and decided to miss it and rolled down the steps. I'm thinking that he was a dirty old man and wanted a cheap feel. He and she twisted and rolled down a flight of steps in a big human ball and only stopped when they hit that bottom. Broken head, bleeding, and he was rushed to the hospital and the woman he took out also went with other injuries, not as sever but still serious.
My point: old fuckers, grow up! The first guy could have killed someone, may have almost, but that's for me to know. The second guy brought someone else to the hospital with him. These are simply two of many stories out there in this green and blue sphere we live on. The fact that you people are so proud, are so attached to your physical things (house, neighbor hood, etc.) you don't think clearly and put yourselves and others into jeopardy.
What's jail like at 75 for vehicular homicide? What's it like to fall down the steps of your house that you live alone at and die from the elements, starvation, or dehydration because no one was there to help and you broke both hips and a few arms? Your actions effect others, your decisions have consequences that go well beyond the scope of the five feet of personal space around you. Your stubbornness, for lack of a better word - I was dropped on my head as a child through my 20's, can not only hurt you but will hurt others that love you or like you or wish they were the ones hurting you... pick one.
If you're old and reading this. Please keep reading this blog you're probably one of three people who does. But think about what or how your decisions are effecting others and possibly yourself. It's okay to realize that being alone is not the best solution. If you're young, don't be afraid of old people. Except for old man Withers, he would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those snooping kids and that damn dog! Do the right thing. It may make you unpopular, as long as you don't get snipped from the will, to do the right thing and put pressure on the old ones because they may not realize they need it, but just do it. Every situation is different, however, I'd rather be wrong now than sorry later.
